Website load time has always been important. But Google is in the process of making it a part of their algorithm that determines website placement. I am working on improving my own website speed right now. These are the tools and resources I have discovered so far.

A very good tool for testing your responsive design. It offers quick visuals of how your web page appears on various devices and screen sizes.

Schema markup helps search engines provide rich snippets of what your webpage is about. see also Schema.org, the Website for Schema Markup.

I just discovered Google forms. It works great to set up a questionnaire. The free option with 15 GB storage is sufficient unless you have a large volume. You can check out how we are using it on our contact page.

NEVE Theme For WordPress

A super-fast and easy-to-use theme. It includes loads of extra features and works well with other services like WooCommerce, Elementor, and more.

Google Page Speed Insights

This is an excellent test of how fast your page loads. It has a lot of additional information of how to fix problems with your load speed.

RESULTS ARE LOOKING GOOD

Broken Link Checker plugin for WordPress

Very nice it automatically checks your site by default every 72 hours and sends you an email if it finds any broken links.

Dr. Link Check

Great for checking your website links for broken links. It also provides other data concerning the links.

AHREF Broken Link Checker

Everything AHREFS has to offer is the best you can find.

Plagiarism Checker

This one I just found allows you to eliminate the source page. Many of the checkers I have used do not. I know this because I made changes that were unique on one and my plagiarism score increased, which was not very helpful. It was looking at the same update I had just done updates on for comparison.

Web Flow Diagram Maker

Nice for making simple diagrams. Easily saves and downloads as JPG or other formats.

Voice searches are making the use of natural speech in your SEO more important. For example: before voice search, someone would type in “Best Thai restaurant Tulsa” now they might speak “Where is the best Thai restaurant in Tulsa near me” and the results will be different.
